Renaming of Gordon Fergusson Place

Public Notice of Intention to Pass a By-law to Rename an Existing Municipal Road

Take Notice that Council, at their regulation meeting of May 25, 2021, approved Report Number 21- 05-25 to rename an existing municipal road from Gordon Ferguson Place to Gordon Fergusson Place.

When the subdivision plan was registered, Fergusson was spelled incorrectly with one “s” instead two “ss”. To respectfully commemorate Gordon Fergusson and his service, Council elected to correct the spelling in the street name.
